Join us for a beautiful evening at the Thompson Barn as we gather together on September 10th from 5–9pm for our fall Flourish event, Seasons.
We’ll share a delicious meal from local small business La Fetta, seated around round tables, as we enjoy coffee and tea, and even do a little shopping at our Flourish Market. Featuring some amazing local Kansas City Vendors!
We will be joined by guest speakers Jennifer Pepito and Mary Sprague. We will also have two bonus sessions: one to encourage the mothers with children in public school, led by Cassidy Griffin, and one for home educating mothers, led by Jennifer Pepito.
Meet Jennifer:
Jennifer Pepito is the host of the Restoration Home podcast, author of Habits for a Sacred Home, Mothering by the Book and the founder of The Peaceful Press. Jennifer is on a mission to help moms overcome fear and live with wonder and purpose in every season of motherhood. Her resources help create joyful memories among families, which lead to deeper connections and lasting relationships.
Jennifer is a certified life and parenting coach, and her Restoration Home Community has empowered hundreds of moms to cultivate better rhythms and experience more peace.
Jennifer lives in the mountains with her beloved family, where she enjoys reading aloud, working in her garden and watching the sunset.
Meet Mary:
Knowing the challenges of being raised in a single parent home, the course of Mary’s life was changed when her mother was invited to church by a friend and surrendered her life to Christ. Mary was able to experience first hand the love and strength of being raised in a local church family. Married for over 30 years now, Mary spent 5 years in missions serving with YWAM, 8 years in youth and college ministry, and now over 20 years serving alongside her husband Clint in pastoring the family of Life Mission Church. She is a mom of six and delights daily in having a Savior and leaning on Him for everything.

Jennifer will share practical wisdom for creating peaceful rhythms at home, nurturing strong family connections, and homeschooling with intentionality and wisdom.. Whether you are just beginning your homeschool journey or preparing for the high school years, this session will equip you with hope-filled encouragement and sustainable habits for a thriving homeschool.
Navigating Public School Through every Season with Cassidy Griffin.
Meet Cassidy:
Cassity Griffin is a wife, mother of five daughters, and former teacher who is passionate about encouraging moms through the public school years. She and her husband, Brian, met in high school and graduated together from Kansas State University in 2004. After spending many meaningful years at home raising their daughters, Cassity brings both professional insight and personal experience to conversations about faith, family, and navigating the public school journey with intention.
With three daughters not yet graduated, she continues to walk closely alongside her girls through the challenges and blessings of each season. Cassity’s heart is to encourage mothers to keep their eyes fixed on the Lord as they guide their children with wisdom, grace, and steadfast faith.
